Q: What exactly does a financial advisor do?
A: A financial advisor is a registered investment advisor whose priority is to guide and advise you to make wise financial decisions. Some of the things our wealth advisor does are:
- Analyze your financial situation.
- Answer any questions you may have about investing.
- Develop a personalized plan to achieve your financial goals.
- Recommend appropriate investment strategies.
- Manage and/or open accounts on your behalf.
- Review your investment portfolio and make adjustments as needed.
- Discuss how new financial needs may impact your financial plan (college planning, buying a new house, etc)
While those are some of the things your advisor can do for you, what they do will depend on your personal situation and needs.
